Smoke, Mirrors, and 150BPM (2025)

A labor of love, this piece took quite some time to complete. This piece is a love letter to techno music, music festivals, and nightlife culture in general. I wanted to visually describe the feeling of whimsy at the club, that moment when the music is just right, bodies are moving, and you transcend into the ultimate pleasure. I love the idea of music bringing all kinds of people together, so I made sure to incorporate all kinds of characters. I really wanted to sell the whimsy with the art style, the cats, robots, and even the Prince from the Katamari series.
